Hi!

I’m Brendan, a wedding photographer based in the Blue Mountains, NSW Australia. I love relaxed weddings and couples who enjoy having a great time and a sense of adventure in their hearts.

People often ask me what I enjoy most about photographing weddings. The honest answer is people. I have always been drawn to connections and friendships. The hardest thing about being a wedding photographer? Going home!

What is it that you’re looking forward to your wedding?

A wedding is more than just 500 people in a room choosing chicken or beef.
It’s more than getting crazy drunk and figuring out how to get home.
To me, it’s one of the most exciting days in your relationship! It might sound cheesy, but honestly, it gets better as time progresses.
Your vows are a statement to your friends and family about why you’ve chosen your partner.
This can be done in front of 2 people (me and a Celebrant) or heaps of people.

I’ve photographed more than 400 weddings over a period of 10 years and I can honestly say that no two weddings are the same, why? how? No two people are the same. My goal is to capture your day as it unfolds, your way.

No cheesy gimmicks.
Nothing to posey.

But rather capturing the emotions and moments of your day so that when you look back, you’re taken to those moments in time. I want to capture images that you look back and share with your children and their children.

GETTING CONNECTED

There’s nothing more frustrating than being told what to do by someone you don’t know. I get that. Heck, I’ve even been there.
It’s your day, not mine and you need to feel comfortable. I place a pretty high emphasis on getting connected with you guys to ensure that when we get to your wedding day, I can take photos that are meaningful to you. You want photos that get to the core of your story and capture the people that you love.

For the majority of a wedding day, I’ll capture real emotions and not be MR PAPARAZZI. For a few minutes, I’ll work with you to create some meaningful moments that Mum, Dad, and Grandma will love and for a few seconds, I might be like “OH! the light over there is amazing! Can we go over there!

For me, the better I know you guys as a couple, the better I am able to capture your story.
